LGBTQ+ Project is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller is  LGBTQ+ Project.  The data protection act information officer for the charity is Fiona Hammond Liew-Bedford.

The data that we collect from you may be stored on our systems. We will take all steps as we consider reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy. The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website www.lgbtqproject.org.uk. Any transmission is at your own risk. 

Uses made of the information we store from you

We use your information in the following ways:

To ensure that content from www.lgbtqproject.org.uk is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer. 

To provide you with information or services that you request from us, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.

We use your data to improve your experience. We do no share your data with third parties unless you ask us or give us your permission to share it for example if you agree for us to share the information with an organisation we are working on a joint project with.  Information will be shared with the police if there is a safeguarding risk that has arisen.

You have the right to access certain information held by us about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act.
